The cooperative keeps order and security of people and their property in markets and trading centers whereas, they join efforts with residents in night patrols.
This was resolved by Deputy Reserve Force Chief of staff, Major General Jérôme Ngendahimana during his visit to deliver the donations that Rwanda National Reserve Force administration had promised them.
Major General Ngendahimana remarks: “Discipline identifies soldiers; let it identify you as well in your personal life, daily work and in your cooperative.”
Major Ngendahimana asked them to work with residents they are obliged to protect as one way of performing their duties very well. He adds that whatever they do is in the interest of the residents.
Work with police and the army and be on good terms with government sectors because it will help to ease your work, Deputy Reserve Force Chief of staff advises the cooperative members.
General Major Ngendahimana asserts, it’s not enough to wear uniforms and stand in public places keeping security, but you should look for ways of how residents can develop and take part in developing the country.
Jonathan Mbanjineza, president of Coomsel-umutekano iwacu thanks Reserve force authority and local leadership for the support and ideas in their work.
