Rwanda : Nyamasheke prepares to launch Agaciro development fund

On August 30^th 2012, Nyamasheke District will officially open “Agaciro development fund”; a new project that the government of Rwanda is adopting for financial/economic sustainability.

During the general security meeting on August 21^st 2012, Jean Baptiste Habyarimana, mayor of Nyamasheke district said “Agaciro development fund” aims at helping national financial budget.

The district official asked the participants to sensitize residents to strive for dignity through contributing and work hard for development.

Mayor Habyarimana added that residents should not think they are contributing due to other reasons other than National development it has to be a continuous activity until Rwanda develops from the efforts of her citizens.

Lieutenant colonel Masumbuko, army official in Nyamasheke and Rusizi districts asked that Agaciro development fund be introduced to children as well to help them grow up with the spirit of developing their country.

Though this contribution is not a must, residents should know that they can give crops and other available materials apart from money in the development of Rwanda.

Top government officials contributed over Rwf30million in this program, setting an example for the rest of Rwandan majority.
