Kagame to attend Clinton Global Initiative 2013 Annual Meeting in New York

Clinton Global Initiative  has declared that the US President Barack Obama and Former President Bill Clinton will Hold Conversation on Health Care at 2013 CGI Annual Meeting Sept 23-26 in New York City in which  Rwandan President Paul Kagame is invited  

President Kagame and other distinguished World leaders expected to take part in the conversation will also engage in the benefits and access to quality health care around the globe. President Barack Obama and Former president Bill Clinton will also focus on future of health care reform in America, a discussion that will be commenced by President Obama and Bill Clinton on Tuesday September 24th

The conversation will be preceded by a session hosted by Chelsea Clinton in which key leaders and CGI commitment-makers will discuss the importance of investing in prevention to tackle the rise of non-communicable diseases, such as cancer and diabetes. This is part of the newly announced lineup of global leaders announced by President Clinton, Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, and Chelsea Clinton.

The President of Rwanda Paul Kagame and more than 60 current and former heads of state are set to convene under CGI’s 2013 theme, “Mobilizing for Impact,” which will help them effectively advance goals such as increasing entrepreneurship among women and youth and creating communities that are more resilient to climate change-related disasters.

For Americans, hundreds of high-level government leaders are confirmed to participate in this year’s Annual Meeting along with President Obama, where they’ll devise solutions to global challenges.

Rwanda has set an exemplary in most countries in the world. The country has a hearth insurance scheme known as Community –based Health insurance (CBHI or Mutuelle de Sante) the project has been proved to be potential and powerful at combating medical service problem among the Rwandan population.

The number of global leaders to attend the Clinton global initiative annual meeting is more than 1,000 renowned global leaders, including 60 current and former heads of state, as well as top business, NGO, and philanthropy leaders from over 70 nations all of whom will meet to convene at ninth Clinton Global Initiative Annual Meeting, Sept 23-26 in New York City under theme of ‘Mobilizing for Impact’

Heads of state will join other global leaders from government and multi-lateral organizations, such as Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan; His Royal Highness Prince Turki Al Faisal Al Saud, Chairman, Board of Directors, King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies; Madeleine K. Albright, Chair, Albright Stonebridge Group;  Nabil ElAraby, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States; Ehud Barak and  Former Prime Minister of the State of Israel; Michael R among others.

Government participants will be joined by top leaders from the private sector, philanthropy, and the world’s most effective NGOs.
