Youth should adopt a reading culture to learn development from successful people, says Jean Bosco Kwizera, in charge of communication in the youth committee in Kayonza district.
Jean Bosco Kwizera revealed this on November 21st 2012 after he was elected to this post after it was vacant for close to five months.
Kwizera discloses that among the packages he has for Kayonza youth is sensitizing them on adopting the reading culture.
“Most of our youth do not understand well all about job creation program yet other youth have achieved a lot through forming associations. They can learn from others through reading,” explains Kwizera.
Other youth in some parts of Kayonza district are still lost in drug use and they are the priority in this reading program so that they understand the consequences of drug use.
The coordinator of National Election Commission in Kayonza, Ngoma and Kirehe, Vianney Ngarambe says that if the person in charge of communication handles well his obligation, youth will read and develop.
“Kwizera will be visiting other districts to gather information on how other youth have achieved development, so that Kayonza youth develop.”
Kwizera advises Kayonza youth to form cooperatives and get financial support to attain social and economic development.
